Position Summary:
The Database Analyst will perform key data management activities to ensure smooth business operation of Foundation’s Constituent Data management platforms which include Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, BBCRM and a few other platforms.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform daily review and updates of constituents, events, registrations data files between BBCRM, Salesforce CRM and other systems involved
Analyze and address errors in data sync logs and revenue batch exception logs
Download, review, clean and import donation data from external sources to Salesforce and / or BBCRM
Help to map, manage and migrate data from BBCRM to Salesforce NPSP
Collaborate closely with support staff to resolve data discrepancies, correct mapping issues, troubleshoot & fix errors
Create and manage BBCRM and Salesforce CRM user accounts
Act as level 1 helpdesk partner for Salesforce and BBCRM issues
Have a good understanding of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud in all aspects of the sync in order to participate in the maintenance and upgrade process of our database
Create and perform various test cases, both in Salesforce CRM and BBCRM
Actively participate in vendors’ calls and discussions for on-going projects
Analyze support requests and come up with topics and conduct on-going scheduled training sessions and FAQ forums
Strengthen the culture of data and technology throughout the organization through user engagement, accurate data, analytics, and reporting in Salesforce NPSP, PowerBI, etc.
Collaborate with users and stakeholders and look for ways and opportunities to improve user experience in Salesforce NPSP
Build queries and data extensions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver target audiences for email campaigns
Additional responsibilities as needed, such as writing/editing/running ad-hoc queries (BBCRM, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce NPSP and any other platforms as needed)
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
Specific experience in the non-for-profit industry, with knowledge of the administration and troubleshooting of Salesforce and BBCRM
Experience with Marketing Cloud is a plus
Qualified candidate must have experience in providing technical support and supporting remote field staff
