Data Protection Coordinator

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Data Protection Coordinator to join our team in London, UK**.**

The post holder will role is to provide subject matter expertise and lead on organisational compliance & activities relating to data protection, information, and privacy. The role will proactively support compliance with key regulations and legislation the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local laws such as the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
• Professional qualification in data protection and ICT security
• Knowledge of GDPR and demonstrable experience leading on best practice relating to data protection regulation
• Experience in a global context, ideally in an INGO
• Project and/or organisational performance management and reporting experience
• Compliance and/or audit, risk management experience
• Experience and understanding of working in a diverse setting including across cultures especially Asia and Africa
