Data Engineer Virtual Internship

Robert Half is a cloud-first organization and wants you to jump right into a variety of projects involving the latest in data technologies: Databricks, Jupyter notebooks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lakehouse, Synapse, and more. • Participate in IT and cross-departmental projects — you’ll be directly involved in business outcomes.
• Unpack, analyze, and report on raw data; break down user stories and translate them into technical requirements to help devise IT strategies and support company initiatives.

What You Need

• Be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program related to computer science, IT, information science, management information systems, data science, mathematics, or physics, with a graduation year of 2024.
• An understanding of cloud computing and how the cloud works, as well as a solid understanding of how programming languages work (Python, Jupyter Notebook, SQL, and Dataframe usage).
• An adaptive mindset that allows you to quickly learn new technologies and adopt/develop new workflows.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
• Ability to work full 40-hour weeks virtually from June 19 – July 28, 2023 (internship dates cannot be altered).

The typical pay rate for this position is $26.00/hour.
