Responsibilities and duties:

  • Providing accurate qualitative and quantitative data collected in the field Conduct
  • monitoring and follow-up visits to partner organizations and locations according to external and internal deadlines of activities implemented.
  • Conduct field monitoring visits to assess the implementation of quality benchmarks as per project M&E plans.
  • Conduct and support partners in the implementation of focus group discussions and data collection for reporting on project indicators.
  • Support data collection for the purpose of internal studies, assessments, evaluations and any other data collection requirements.
  • Support planning, implementation, and follow-up of evaluations, for instance, writing Terms of Reference(s) (TORs), preparing literature review packs, recruiting evaluators, planning evaluator itineraries, planning staff workshops, and leading report reviews.
  • participate in evaluations and needs assessments where required.
  • Conduct simple data analysis, and present, and disseminate information to inform the program
  • management.
  • Undertake visits to the field throughout the project, as needed to support data
  • collection or verify data quality; this includes the Data Quality Assurance (DQA).
  • Support data entry and reporting efforts if needed, and contribute to the overall implementation of assessment, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
  • Support data analysis and quality checking need that may arise.
  • Support the implementation of activities of project M&E plans in collaboration with the program teams.
  • Contribute to the documentation of program events such as meetings, events, and workshops.
  • Support internal evaluations and/ or reviews.
  • Follow clinical databases and the Kobo toolbox and prepare records accordingly.
  • Manage databases of information sharing and lead innovation of new mechanisms, tools, and channels to improve participation of communities and their ability to provide feedback and raise concerns.
  • Refer all received complaints to relevant program teams for their action and make sure all issues are addressed/resolved.
  • Participate in team workshops, lessons learned, and reflection seminars.
  • Perform other related tasks as required

Requirements and Skills:

Data assistant should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in business administration, or related area
  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in working with INGOs or NGOs
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools, research methodologies, data quality assurance, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and M&E report writing.
  • Only Turkish nationals are able to apply for this position.
  • Excellent command of written and oral Arabic, very good in English.
  • Advanced user of IT including word processing, and Excel databases/ spreadsheet use.KOBO. Power BI
  • Operate in compliance with organizational regulations and rules.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain professional confidentiality at work.
  • Ability to work within a multicultural, multilingual, and multidisciplinary environment and to work effectively with others.
  • Willing to live and work in a hardship duty station with basic facilities.
