Data Analyst (m/f/d)

For our client we are seeking an experiencedData Analyst (m/f/d)to join a dynamic team and contribute to clients data analytics and Business Intelligence efforts. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven decision-making process. You will work closely with various business stakeholders to gather requirements and design analytical solutions, with a primary focus on BI/Reporting/Dashboards and Data Warehousing in the insurance and finance sector. The start date is ASAP and due to 31.12.2023.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant business stakeholders to understand and document their data and reporting needs.
• Develop and design key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and monitoring dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Assist in the design and maintenance of data marts, ensuring data accuracy and availability for reporting and analysis.
• Apply data modelling techniques to structure and organize data, supporting efficient reporting and analytics.
• Utilize common standard BI/reporting tools and database technologies for data warehouses, with a preference for expertise in Tableau, MS Power BI, Oracle, or similar tools.
• Proficient in both German and English, allowing for effective communication and documentation within a diverse team and international context.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent training/education.
• Proven experience in BI/Reporting/Dashboards and Data Warehousing, ideally within the insurance/finance sector.
• Strong experience in analytical information systems, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in data modelling techniques to optimize data structures.
• Basic knowledge of common standard BI/reporting tools and database technologies for data warehouses, with expertise in Tableau, MS Power BI, Oracle, etc.
• Knowledge of advanced data analytics and statistical techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting best practices.
