Cybersecurity Intern – SkillBridge

SkillBridge Eligibility

ENSCO, Inc., is a diverse engineering, science, and advanced technology company, and has a Cyber Security Skillbridge opportunity in the MSG Division. The intern will be trained to provide engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.

The Range Network Systems Engineering & Integration (RN SE&I) contract provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support to the USSF Space Systems Command (SSC) Enterprise Corps (EC). EC acquires services to modernize and sustain the Satellite Control Network (SCN), the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). RN acquires services to modernize and sustain the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), the Air Force Satellite Control Network (SCN) and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). ENSCO is a recognized DOD Skillbridge Provider, with memorandum of understanding in place.

Duties will include but are not limited to assisting with the following:

• Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages
• USAF implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Systems engineering and integration of cyber relevant capabilities into AF mission systems.
• Administration and compilation of vulnerability assessments and RMF security controls.
• Cybersecurity related studies and projects

Qualifications Required (Skills)

• Participant in DoD Skillbridge program.
• DoD 8570 IAT/ IAM certification, such as Sec+, CEH
• Cybersecurity, IT or networking experience.
• Experience using computers and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with good organization skills.
• Possess good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT

Qualifications Desired

• Experience with software languages including Python, C, JAVA, HTML, Basic
• DoD 8570 IAT/IAM level II or III
• Current U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance
