RedRose is a sector leader in improving development and humanitarian assistance outcomes through the use of digital technology, specializing in CVA; mass campaigns (global Health); beneficiary registration, digital identity (including biometrics), e-voucher solutions, digital cash payments and asset transfers. Red Rose operates in over 50 countries assisting governments, donors, INGOs, IFRC/ICRC and the United Nations, and works closely with the World Bank and large foundations. Red Rose has supported the delivery of e-voucher, cash and NFI programmes to in excess of 100 million people across the globe. We are based in Ireland with affiliate offices in the UK, Ukraine, Nigeria and Turkey.

Background to the Position

RedRose is currently looking to hire a CVA Specialist Manager with a solid understanding of cash and voucher programs and asset transfer solutions in the international development and humanitarian sectors. We are looking to recruit a dynamic ‘Change Agent’ managerwho is a highly motivated, innovative, skilled networker that can support our current global partner relationships and contribute to the International development Digital Agenda.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage the CVA Business Development team;
  • Set up strategic agency meetings with private sector, government and non-government organisations within the region to promote the RedRose ONESystem;
  • Increase the RedRose impact and partner base by identifying new business opportunities across the International development and private sectors;
  • Develop a global Business Development Plan that is target driven and measurable;
  • Work closely with the Implementation and Support Team;
  • Contribute to the Cash management global debate through social media, press briefings and representation at all relevant industry networks, regional meetings and conferences;
  • Analyse sector trends and potential strategic opportunities to broaden the RedRose cash programming and asset transfer capability;
  • Lead on potential tenders and draft proposals;
  • Represent RedRose across institutional donors (US/UK/EU), current clients/partners and other key stakeholders to build corporate confidence and improve the organization’s brand recognition and global impact.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal English;
  • 7 + years of relevant work experience in disaster response and/or the design, implementation, and monitoring of humanitarian and development assistance programs;
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and operational experience in CVA;
  • Proven management ability to assess, plan, manage, implement, direct, and monitor multi-faceted projects or programs;
  • Ability to network across multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal in the required languages of the region;
  • Results driven with some track record in business development in the Humanitarian and Development sector;
  • Good understanding of the cash and asset transfer global agenda;
  • Understanding of FSPs and MMOs;
  • Motivated self-starter;
  • Passion for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Humanitarian and International Development sector;
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with culturally diverse groups;

Remunerative Package

  • Competitive compensation package (base salary plus performance incentives).
  • Location: TBD
  • Travel will be expected
