Seafrigo USA is looking for a flexible, energetic, and motivated professional to fill open Customs Entry Writer positions. We have openings in both our Elizabeth NJ and Miami Florida locations. As a Customs Entry Writer, you will work closely with other professionals in Importing to ensure that shipments are in compliance with all customer requirements, as well as meeting customs entry requirements You will be responsible for tracking shipments and work with clients to reduce duties owed on shipments.
Compensation will be commensurate with previous experience.
Your Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all Customs Regulations as per CFR19
- File ISF, Customs Declarations and all applicable PGA’s.
- Executing delivery orders when applicable, assuring delivery of cargo when needed, communicating all phases of our services to customers, vendors and internally.
- Bill all applicable files on time
- Performs other related duties as required and requested
Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Flexibility with hours, able to alternate schedules with managers
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
- Dependable and reliable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Cargowise experience a plus
Your Previous Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in filing Customs Entries paperwork
