Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

To key role of the Customer Service Representative is to provide world class service to the location’s customers by managing day-to-day account activities and act as an interface between the business and its customers, delivering value adding services that support the business objectives and a high level of customer satisfaction. The position requires little supervision and requires independent action and initiative within assigned areas of responsibility across multiple accounts.

Key Objectives

  • The role is accountable for the end to end order management process: support Account Managers with quotations, ensures orders are covered with credit limits, metal is hedged, orders are booked and executed according to agreed conditions, and customer payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints and raise appropriate credit notes to ensure disputed invoices are cleared as soon as possible.
  • Provide and efficient and effective service/support to all internal and external customers.
  • Use own knowledge and work in conjunction with appropriate departments to ensure full compliance with all policies .

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least high school degree
  • Fluent in English and in Italian.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in customer facing role.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize task & deliver solutions in a rapid moving environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and with Customers.
  • An understanding the Aluminum industry and product applications would be advantageous.
