IACP seeks to hire a Customer Service Project Coordinator to broadly support IACP efforts, and specifically support:

Job Responsibilities

Working with IACP staff, project partners, and stakeholders, the Project Coordinator will:

  • Utilize the association management system to track details and engagement activity for IACPnet prospects, and document interactions with subscribers
  • Prospect new agencies and individuals, and work to create and establish new subscriptions by utilizing existing resources and developing new leads
  • Reach out to potential new subscribers through generated leads
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other teams
  • Maintain and update IACP Board members IACPnet accounts, completed yearly
  • Maintain records of prospect accounts and lead tracking
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals
  • Represent IACP’s products and services, using deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of future subscribers
  • Assist with the processing of cancellations and new accounts in association management system
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager when needed and serve as back up
  • Perform demonstrations for prospective subscribers of the IACPnet site
  • Maintain communication with project team including staff members, partners, subject matter experts, and act as a liaison to external stakeholders
  • Maintain ongoing and effective communication with project team and staff members
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + two (2) years of job-related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other relevant business software
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Solid analytical skills to include ability to troubleshoot problems from multiple perspectives
  • Effective task prioritization and time management skills
  • Solid writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a non-profit organization, association, or criminal justice environment
  • Familiarity with and understanding of project-relevant issues and policing
  • Experience with, and ability to plan events and make logistical arrangements for individuals and groups

Special Conditions and Work Environment

  • Travel will be required based on job responsibilities
  • Light lifting, bending, and reaching may be required
