Cardiff Bus has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Customer Service Team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in Customer Service and gain hands on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

You’ll be part of a team who help make our customers’ journey as easy as possible by providing exceptional customer service through a range of channels. Your role will involve interacting with customers on a day to day basis and offer support and solutions. This exciting position is perfect for someone who is passionate about Customer Service and driven to achieve the best result in every interaction with our customers.

Responsibilities

To answer the phones in a professional and enthusiastic manner always and help the customer with their enquiry through to resolution, escalating if required.

To confidently respond to customer email enquiries, sourcing accurate and relevant information.

To deal and respond to all methods of communication e.g. letters and emails, in a professional manner.

To support the on-line communication with our passengers through updating and maintaining our social media sites, to include Twitter and Facebook.

To communicate with customers face-to-face in a polite manner.

To log feedback and investigate the reasoning behind the feedback. Once determined, all relevant information is used to produce ‘case pack’ to pass to relevant line manager for further considerations.

Use of key operating systems, such as EP Morris, Mix Telematics, CMS, SharePoint, Ticketer, and CRM to assist with any queries and / or validating of feedback.

To deal with smartcard and app ticketing issues and resolving them with the customer.

Provide statistical data on feedback received, when actioned and outcomes.

Process and reconciliation of direct debit sales including ensuring accurately and timely onward financial information to the finance team, including BACS production as needed.

Provide support with the administration of our Corporate Sales stream e.g., smartcard fulfilment and customer communications and financial reconciliation and processing with the finance team.

Receive incoming and process outgoing postal requirements in a timely manner.

To assist in any other duties and projects as and when required.

  • Be computer literate e.g. Microsoft Office
