We are looking to welcome co-workers to join our fantastic Customer Services team based in our Leeds store. This is a permanent, part-time role.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Customer Relations Co-Worker.

Expected Starting Date: 3rd September 2022

WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.10 basic hourly rate.
• Living Wage Foundation Employer.
• We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.
• We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling and regular weekends off.

CONTRACTED HOURS
16 hours working 4 days out of 7, including 3 out of 4 weekends flexibility on availability can be discussed during interviews.
24 hours working 4 days out of 7, including 3 out of 4 weekends flexibility on availability can be discussed during interviews..

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for co-workers who strives to give an amazing customer shopping experience; co-workers that always put the customer at the heart of everything they do and inspire others to do the same. They are passionate about ensuring that IKEA has a lifelong connection with their customers by always considering their needs.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on checkouts and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers, managing a queue, hosting trolleys, or assisting customers. This is physically demanding and requires the ability to work outside.

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.
