Customer Planning Manager – Wholesale & Convenience

The role

Working within the Wholesale and Convenience team and reporting to the Senior Manager for Commercial and Proposition, you will be accountable for understanding this market and delivering insights to shape the customer strategy.

You will ensure that we understand our customers’ needs and provide data-led inputs to the team and our stakeholders as we develop the proposition to meet and exceed these needs.

Your Day To Day Role Will Involve

• Using relevant data and insights to define priority customer missions for the channel
• Tracking and reporting against key target customer & market metrics and success factors – deliver in relevant forums to agitate conversations and actions
• Exploring and defining growth propositions and keeping a close eye on developments in this emerging and dynamic market to provide recommendations for trial and implementation
• Providing a customer lens to pricing, ranging and promotional plans – creating & embedding customer-led principles
• Liaison with our wholesale partners to optimise our shared assets and deliver a compelling and consistent customer experience
• Delivering activation plans for relevant activity/seasonal events and key moments appropriate to the format
• Shaping and embedding a branded marketing revenue model
• Timely autopsy and review of key customer activity for continuous improvement

• Ideally you will have experience of retail and category management
