Calix is looking for a Customer Operations Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and new program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning. You’ll learn Calix products and solutions, work across functions and interact with customers, prospects, and sales team members. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data integrity and problem solving. This is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring Business, Sales or Marketing student to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get real hands-on experience in a Customer Operations team. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Working with key internal stakeholders to support Customer Initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a changing business environment with the consistent introduction of new products and processes.
- Participate in documenting and disseminating information to internal and external teams regarding contract/agreement updates, pricing, promotions and related policy changes.
- Beginner to intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and formulas.
- Collaborating with multiple organizations on a variety of projects focused on sales expansion .
- Ensuring our CRM tools have complete data for customer support and sales initiatives .
- Researching details in SFDC and other tools .
- Assisting with SFDC general data clean up initiatives:.
- Assist Customer Operations Teams with individual Territory Initiatives.
Qualifications
- Working towards a business/sales degree.
- Collaborative and curious.
- Strong communication skills and excellent telephone/video presence .
- Detail oriented.
- Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred .
- Experience in a role or project requiring analytical problem solving and data analysis .
- Available to work effectively with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast changing environments .
- Microsoft Office software suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .
- SalesForce or CRM Experience preferred but not required.
- Stable internet connection required.
