Job Summary

Moog are now recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Customer Account Coordinator to join the team at Moog Reading Ltd.

The role will take responsibility for running all internal communication and customer service activities for the accounts/territories assigned to the individual, including order processing, export control, contract administration and all product and project pricing tasks for Moog Reading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of close working relationships with all areas of Moog Reading and customers within the designated territory and adherence to internal processes and procedures at all times
  • Work with sales teams/channels, Customer Service Manager, Group European sale team to ensure all quotations and bids issued are compelling to the customer, and work to maximize the opportunity for Moog to win the business
  • Continuously review and suggest improvements to the internal sales processes of the business to ensure that they are relevant, efficient and adding value to both the customer and Moog
  • Ensure that all marketing and sales leads are captured, managed and actioned for the relevant territory in order to maximize the business potential for Moog Reading through in depth utilization of the company CRM tool
  • Screening of customers (new and existing) to ensure that Moog Reading trade legitimately and legally at all times, using appropriate tools as provided by the company. This includes credit checks and agreeing payment terms. Ensure in house systems are maintained and updated with current information.
  • The Customer Account Coordinator will administer the process of export control compliance within the delegated territory, obtaining end user statements and applying for export licenses where necessary. Offer support to purchasing with import clearance. Any concerns, risks to Moog Reading’s business must be raised immediately with the Customer Service Manager.
  • The Customer Account Coordinator will act as a single point of contact for any emergency customer situations within their territory, and will work with other functions within the business to ensure that the customer receives timely and accurate answers to their issues, and will then drive permanent resolution of these issues to conclusion
  • Administer the sales part of the new product introduction (NPI) process, highlighting actions to other team members as required. It is also an expectation of the role to provide input to continuously improve and develop these processes as required
  • Handle aftersales queries, customer complaints, logging returns and repairs. Sending evaluation reports following product surveys and repairs.
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing post, reception cover in relation taking overflow calls and authorising entry of visitors

Key Expertise

  • GCSE level Math’s and English
  • Fluent English speaker, other European languages desirable
  • Proven specific capabilities in outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working and influencing colleagues, customers and businesspeople to execute effectively on customer deliverables
  • A sound understanding of project costing and pricing
  • Proven experience of working with UK and USA Export Control requirements and procedures would be advantageous
