Curriculum Support Administrator x2

Salary: £17,954 – £18,704 FTE per annum

Hours: 1x 26 hours, 40 weeks – 1x 20 hours, 52 weeks

Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent on site facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

The post holder will be a member of the cross college curriculum administration support team and could be expected to work across all curriculum areas and sites as required. Sometimes the post holder might be expected to provide a reception service in a smaller centre.

The post holder will work as part of the large cross college administration team, as well as working closely with teaching teams and their curriculum managers and Head of Faculty. A job for those who like to do many different tasks throughout the academic year, as we support our teachers supporting the students to gain their qualifications.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C). The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
