Line of Business Job Description:
The position works closely with client teams and credit partners, completes customized credit approval packages, approval memos and other standard documents and manages the documentation process to ensure on-time loan booking.
The ideal candidate can analyze risks and identify mitigates, recommend risk ratings, exposure strategies, credit structures and sponsor recommendations through the approval process. This role interfaces with client teams, risk, residential real estate credit specialists, servicing, and legal partners to support the timely delivery of the credit solutions.
Primary duties include underwriting and obtaining credit approval for custom mortgage loan products to clients of Global Wealth and Investment Management.
Required Skills:
- Analyze and spread personal financial information and tax returns and evaluate debt capacity
- Analyze due diligence including personal, legal and collateral-dependent
- Manage multiple deals simultaneously with different constituents depending on deal stage
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics preferred
- Formal credit training at a major US Financial Institution preferred
- 3-5 years of commercial credit experience
