Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its client a Credit & Counterparty Risk Specialist – Bucharest Hub.
Role Purpose Statement
Risk is inherent in all aspects of the commercial operations. As a result, Credit & Counterparty Risk is an essential factor that needs to be managed.
The incumbent will provide independent and objective analysis, monitoring and management of Credit &Counterparty Risk Management for supported by Bucharest Hub
Performance of daily routines, providing a service to the business, and help on the implementation of any structural changes (changes in requirements, systems, etc…).
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage counterparty risk analysis in accordance with policies, including: KYC checks and minimum due diligence, assigning credit grades, limits and minimum payment terms and approves exposure limits within delegated authority, escalation of exceptions.
- Improve accurate maintenance of counterparty information (grades, approvals, etc.) in SAP, CIMS and Delta
- Monitor Counterparty analysis renewal dates.
- Maintain management tools and reports for both countries to support business decisions and monitor credit exposures
- Monitor reports for exceptions and follows up as appropriate.
- Support on growing the culture of credit &counterparty risk with traders, local management and internal stakeholders
- Support on development of training materials and tools to have regular sessions with trading team about credit and compliance policies
- Cooperate with communications and networking within Credit & Counterparty Risk function structures, and wider family, to ensure full alignment and sharing expertise and best practices to help to grow the region.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in economics, finance or related discipline
- 3 years of credit and counterparty risk management experience
- Supervisory experience a plus.
- Understanding of commodity trading including futures, physicals trading, hedging strategies and market risk
- Highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel, MS Office suite, SAP
- Fluent in English and Italian or English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.
