The CDC Foundation is seeking a Provider Support Manager who will work with Nevada’s health care providers who stock COVID-19 vaccine. The Provider Support Manager will oversee the enrollment of Nevada’s providers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Provider Support Manager will oversee the Provider Support team as they conduct enrollment activities and assure that the COVID-19 vaccine is stored, handled and administered according to established standards by visiting provider sites and evaluating required reporting.

  • Location: This position is located in Carson City, Reno, or Las Vegas and will be required to work in office 2 days a week with the ability to telework the remaining 3 workdays.
  • Position End Date: 12/31/2022
  • Salary: $60,000 plus benefits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in health science, behavioral science, or a closely related field applicable to the program.
  • Two years of health-related experience which included one or more of the following:
  • Researching, collecting, and analyzing data and statistics
  • Developing objectives, protocols, and procedures
  • Providing health education services to target groups or the general public
  • Investigation and prevention of communicable or chronic diseases
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the enrollment of COVID-19 vaccine providers
  • Address vaccine storage and handling issues of COVID-19 vaccine providers
  • Answer questions from COVID-19 vaccine providers
  • Assess COVID-19 vaccine administration data entry in NV WebIZ
  • Assess COVID-19 vaccine administration data entry in the REDCAp aggregate reporting tool
  • Conducts compliance visits with enrolled providers and provides corrective actions and education as necessary
  • Develops and presents weekly/monthly reports/presentations to internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Provides project management of other Provider Support Staff to ensure all deadlines, project deliverables, and providers are fully supported

Special Notes:

  • This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, in order to best support the State of Nevada in their public health programming.
  • This position is located in Reno, Carson City or Las Vegas and will be working part time in the office part time telecommuting for the foreseeable future. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.

The CDC Foundation requires all employees to be fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 as a condition of employment effective November 22, 2021. All offers of employment after that date are contingent upon proof of full-vaccination status as a part of the pre-employment process.

  • Fully vaccinated is defined as follows: At least two weeks have passed since receipt of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine, or the second dose of the either the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccines.
