Are you an exceptional candidate looking for an exciting Assistant Psychologist role? The creation of this role marks an increase in the dedicated psychology provision in the Collaborative Intensive Outreach Team (CIOT), a small but dynamic new team using formulation-driven care to improve the experiences of high intensity users of mental health services, working closely with colleagues in Home Treatment, Liaison Mental Health, Inpatient Mental Health Wards, and Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.
Working alongside the Principal Clinical Psychologist and nursing colleagues, the Assistant Psychologist will play a central role in supporting a psychologically-informed approach to support high intensity users of mental health services. The role will be varied and will include providing notes reviews, contributing to MDT meetings, representing CIOT in liaison with internal and external stakeholders, delivering brief interventions, and supporting with training. An understanding of systemic principles and how they apply in an Urgent Care Mental Health context is highly desirable.
