As Country Logistic (Log) Support you will be a member of Brazil CST. In the spirit of Field Recentralization, the CST will encourage the gradual empowerment of project teams by encouraging the decision making of the projects. You will be the primary contact in the country for all Projects Log Managers and will report to the Country Operational Responsible.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Evaluate current logistics strategies and standards in use
  • Define and implement policies and protocols for all logistic technical families in collaboration with the log responsibles
  • Ensure that all logistic basics are in place and understood by all the log department
  • Define of necessary means and ensure that appropriate tools and means are available and understood by all log team
  • Empower team with autonomy and a coaching/ mentoring support
  • Provide Back up Support for logs in the field
  • Foster capitalization and sharing of experiences between all projects
  • Participate in Emergency Preparedness (EPREP) discussions, participating actively in defining the Emergency response strategy (if needed) in terms of logistics and translating the identified needs into objectives, priorities and resources needed for intervention, including the HR capitalization of people that have previously worked with MSF in Brazil.
  • Be responsible for the Log Annual Review of Operations (ARO) with input for Projects and RST
  • Supervise National flying Electrician and ICT
