Key Responsibilities
Common assignments associated with being part of the Country management team
ㆍDevelops and defines marketing and assortment strategy for the category in line with overall company, business, and retailer strategy
ㆍDrives market share and sales growth for the category and retailer
ㆍBe an active member in the country management team contributing with business insight and functional expertise in order to secure the overall performance of the country
ㆍActively engage with, and share the responsibility in, the delivery of the ‘GROUP’ sustainability strategy to enable the ongoing transformation and growth of the ‘COMPANY’ business.
ㆍSecure growth, low cost and sustainable profitability in accordance with our overall purpose, retail direction and our financial strategy.
ㆍEnsure high quality execution of all People processes securing performing, competent and engaged co-workers.
ㆍEmbrace the digital transformation in the market and be a digital ambassador in the function.
ㆍSecure interdependence and cooperation with all relevant functions and stakeholders, to secure integration and common focus.
ㆍRepresent the Retail country as a spokesperson and external representative for all ‘GROUP’ entities within the designated area of responsibility.
Assignments Specific To The Role
ㆍLead and develop an impactful communication strategy, action plan (including Public Affairs) in the market, both internally and externally, and secure that communication is used as a strategic tool for leading and developing business and people.
ㆍResponsible for leading communication performance, evaluation and follow-up in the market.
ㆍIn close collaboration with other key contributors, drive growth and brand positioning towards target groups, in line with the ‘GROUP’ retail direction, global communication plan and country business plan.
ㆍAct as spokesperson for ‘GROUP’ in the market and securing other effective spokespeople in the market through briefing and training.
ㆍUnderstand and engage with all stakeholders and other influencers both emotionally and rationally; facilitate dialogue, encourage involvement and contribute to an open and sharing climate.
ㆍEnable effective internal communication and engagement for our co- workers to be our best ambassadors. Secure an effective use of internal communication channel landscape.
ㆍResponsible to develop & lead the crisis communications approach & key messages, while supporting other spokespeople.
ㆍEnable change and support change process with effective communication and ‘COMPANY’ leadership.
ㆍResponsible for securing that all communication and collaboration needs between the different ‘GROUP’/’COMPANY’ unit communicators in the country are implemented according to the Representing ‘COMPANY’ principles.
Key Requirements
ㆍOver 15 years of senior experience from working with strategic communication and/or business leadership
ㆍExperience from working with strategic business planning
ㆍStrong documented leadership skills
ㆍExperience with leading in change
ㆍSolid experience working with crisis communication
ㆍExperience with both external (incl. digital communication), internal communication, Public affairs and stakeholder management
