Counselor III Job Description:
The Counselor is responsible for developing a comprehensive clinical formulation based on completion and/or review of chemical dependency, mental health, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments and client’s current functioning. Develops, assigns, and monitors individualized treatment and continuing care plans. The Counselor is responsible for providing chemical dependency and mental health counseling, including but not limited to individual, and group counseling. Will also provide crisis intervention, chemical dependency and mental health education, and case management for caseload.
Counselor III Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in human service or behavioral science with one (1) year counseling experience in the field of substance use and mental health disorder treatment or
- Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with two (2) year’s experience in the field of substance use and mental health disorder treatment
- LPC, LSW, LISW, or LPCC required
