Job Description

The Costing Analyst is responsible for analyzing costs, mapping processes, monitoring cost change efficiency and effectiveness, and communication of cost effects to appropriate internal customers

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis to measure the effectiveness of cost changes and recommend Purchasing changes to realize additional cost reductions
  • Develop and maintain tools to track cost change results and efficiency
  • Creation and Management of Special Costing records
  • Communicate cost increase notifications to EIS field employees
  • Data management to ensure information is accurate and current
  • Coordinate vendor deviated cost updates with Sales and Master Data.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equal experience in pricing activities. Experience in sales or technical applications a plus
  • SAP, or other enterprise business software experience
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Tools including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
  • Process Mapping software skill a plus
  • Macro building
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
