Fantastic Corporate Tax Opportunity in Birmingham. Top 10 firm who are seeking to recruit at Assistant Manager or Manager grade in a role which offers an excellent mix of tax work for a varied client portfolio.

Your new role

Working with a dedicated client portfolio of your own which will vary in size and industry and will range from small OMBs through to large corporates, you will get involved in all aspects of corporate tax work associated with those clients. In addition to corporate tax compliance work, you will get involved in a wide variety of advisory work. The client base managed by this team are pretty active so whether it be due diligence around a transaction, expansion into overseas markets or work around R&D and associated tax claims, there is lots to get involved in. You will manage the client relationship, undertake technical research around various projects and provide tax advice. You will benefit from support from specialist colleagues and will work very collaboratively with others in the business to meet deadlines.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

To be considered for this role you will need to possess corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy firm. You will also ideally possess relevant tax or accountancy qualifications – ATT/CTA/ ACCA/ ACA. You will be technically able and will be good at building lasting client relationships. Whether coming from a larger firm and wanting to broaden your experience in a varied role or working in a regional or independent practice and seeking an opportunity to join a national practice your application will be welcomed.
