Position Description

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing and growing ANY’s portfolio of corporate donors, building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with companies across a variety of industries. The Manager will strategically employ ANY’s corporate partnership model, which connects corporate philanthropy with internship opportunities for Fellows and volunteer opportunities for employees, to support fundraising and student outcomes. This role is responsible for growing a portfolio of corporate partners that reflects the diverse industry interests of our Fellows and plays a dual role in advocating for student success and understanding the unique needs of partner companies. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is an integral member of ANY’s External Affairs Team, reporting to the Chief External Affairs Officer and partnering closely with the CEO and local Executive Directors.

Responsibilities include:

Partnership Development and Management

  • Identify corporate prospects and conduct research to determine interest and giving potential
  • Create and manage standardized templates for corporate proposals, donor reporting, etc.
  • Manage corporate engagement calendar, to include program related events, reporting, and renewals
  • Write compelling partnership proposals and impact reports, communicating program data persuasively
  • Provide ongoing stewardship to partners, updating them on student outcomes and organizational success
  • Conduct compelling partnership pitches and close new five and six figure corporate partnerships

Partnership Deliverables and Student Success

  • In partnership with site leads, ensure a strong pipeline of student and Alumni talent into partners’ internship and full-time opportunities
  • Understand recruiting and hiring timelines for partner companies and share opportunities with program team members
  • In partnership with the Program Operations team, maintain strong communications with program leads and Alumni Director to facilitate accessibility to and understanding of partner internships and full-time jobs, maximizing potential applicants from ANY pipeline
  • In partnership with the Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Director, plan and host corporate volunteer events

Additional Duties

  • Keep accurate partner records and ensure clean data in Salesforce
  • Facilitate career-related content at workshops
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or partnership development
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding 5 and 6 figure corporate gifts
  • Strong project management with an ownership mentality (manages up well, manages sideways, knows how to get answers, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial with fast project execution
  • A strong customer success attitude
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility
  • Comfort with data and data analysis
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Bachelor’s degree required
