Location: London (hybrid role working between home and office)
Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £26,721 per annum (inclusive of Inner London Weighting allowance)
Could you help the Corporate Partnerships Development Team to build and deliver high value, mutually beneficial corporate partnerships at the British Red Cross, as well as raise vital income to support emergency appeals?
About this opportunity

As Corporate Partnerships Business Development Executive you will support and work with all Managers in the Business Development Team in the development of major corporate partnerships, whilst taking accountability within the team for raising income through emergency appeals and engaging emergency donors as longer-term supporters of the B ritish Red Cross.
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Development Manager you will: identify, research, and qualify potential new partnership opportunities; develop and submit compelling proposals, applications, and concept notes; and deliver engaging and convincing presentations to senior level corporate contacts.
You will manage the pipeline in line with the Business Development strategy, ensuring it is targeted and up to date, and includes opportunities to develop relationships with emergency donors into longer term partnership, while ensuring the smooth transition of any new partnership over to account management.
You will help to identify and create added value opportunities with current prospects which leverage both financial and non-financial benefit for the British Red Cross while developing and maintaining best practice fundraising, communications and new business processes and resources, sharing them with key stakeholders across the British Red Cross & Red Crescent movement as appropriate.
About the Team
The Corporate Partnerships team has a successful track record in securing and building long term, mutually beneficial and strategic relationships with UK-based companies. The team works in collaboration with companies across a range of fundraising mechanics including strategic business partnerships, marketing or social responsibility alignment; multi-country partnerships; sponsorship; cause related marketing and employee fundraising.
The Corporate Partnerships team works closely with other key teams and divisions, including Communications, Community Fundraising, Retail, UK and International Operations and other Red Cross National Societies to support and encourage fundraising from companies across the country and around the world.
This role might be for you if…
You have proven experience of w orking for a charity in a fundraising role or for a company / agency in a marketing, sponsorship or sales environment.
You have experience of planning activities in a large or complex partnership, with evidence of working with senior people within that organisation and multiple stakeholders and forming strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You can demonstrate experience of meeting financial targets and of collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure multiple and / or complex projects and activities are delivered successfully.
You have an understanding of corporate social responsibility and interest in working on charity / corporate partnerships and are confident developing and maintaining relationships.
