ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Adeso is a vibrant African-based development and humanitarian organization. PROJECT SUMMARY
CORE, a management services company that has been conceptualized to serve small and local organizations and social enterprises across the world to address their capacity gaps and any compliance risks, enabling them to acquire funding from any donor. Just like in the private sector, CORE aims to provide services in critical areas such as Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Grant Management to any small and local organization, social enterprise or private company that needs these services. This is what outsourcing can look like for a local organization or social enterprise where they can have CORE provide services in some or all of the back-end functions that are currently areas of high risk and non-compliance. CORE aims to help local organizations and social enterprises transition from a situation of high risk and non-compliance to a position of low risk and be able to receive and manage bi-lateral funding in a compliant manner. It also aims to address serious human resource constraints that social enterprises and private companies experience when trying to develop efficient and effective back-end functions in their companies.
BACKGROUND FOR CONSULTANCY
To successfully determine the feasibility of CORE, the Adeso team in partnership with Accenture developed a questionnaire that was sent to over 400 people. To maximize our target audience there is a need to translate this survey to Arabic, French and Spanish.
METHODOLOGY
The Consultant will be provided with the survey and its supporting materials in English, subsequently, he or she will need to translate the document to the required language(s). There are 12 pages in the survey and 105 questions. The survey itself will be set up by someone else but the translator will need to sign off on the accuracy of the survey once it has been set up.
SCOPE OF WORK
In a timely manner, the consultant must translate the required document to either Arabic, Spanish or French. There will be three deliverables:
- Translated survey
- Translation/form for the analysis – this will only need to be done once for each survey
- Translation of the text from open-ended survey questions

COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
In consideration of the fees paid, the Consultant expressly assigns to Adeso any copyright arising from the works the consultant produces while executing this contract. All images (whether used for online or print purposes) must however bear the consultant’s photo credit, as specified by international intellectual property rights. The consultant may not use, reproduce or otherwise disseminate or authorize others to use, reproduce or disseminate such works without prior consent from Adeso.

All applicants must meet the minimum requirements described above, and those unable to meet these requirements will not be considered.

- An application letter addressing the selection criteria including how the consultant’s previous experience matches the consultancy objectives as well as the interest in the position. It should also indicate the candidate’s availability and consultancy rates. The letter should be no longer than two pages;
- A sample of recent work;
- Updated CV including relevant work experience and qualifications;
- Contact details of 2 references.
