Job Title: Coordinator- Customs Division: Supply Chain – Customs Clearance Country: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Work Location: UAE (RAK head office) Job Type: Customs Clearance Employment Type: Full Time Employment (Un-limited Contract) Job Description: Purpose: Coordinator is responsible to responsible in enhancing the smooth import, export & operations to assist the team. Provide administrative and operational support within the department Key responsibilities & Accountability: Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  • Responsible for collating all the information needed to complete the clearance.
  • Ensures all details are correct and accurate, following the Custom requirements of UAE.
  • Contacts with UAE Custom and Clearing agencies.
  • Verifies documents i.e. Invoice, Packing List, Weight List, Certificate of Origin, Exporter Certificate, Shipment Advise, Delivery Note and Legalized Documents as per customs requirements.
  • Follow up with relevant Custom Clearance procedures so that work is carried out in consistent and controlled manners.
  • Prepares payable / receivable reports to submit in accounting department.
  • Informs the Clearance Deputy Manager for all custom transportations and documentation.
  • Promotes and maintains confidentiality of information in the Company.
  • Develops and implements cost effective saving measures.
  • Coordinates with the day to day operations related to Custom Clearance to ensure continuity of work.
  • Coordinates and ensures on time, accurate, and complete required Custom Clearance documents before shifting.
  • Prepares weekly payment plan to submit for banking.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned and assist colleagues whenever necessary and required. Core Competency

  • Demonstrated ability in working independently and as part of a team. Qualifications: – Education 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline/ Diploma in similar field, – Experience: At least 2 – 4 years’ experience in the same filed. – Training: Key Competencies: Good Knowledge in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc).
