At Save the Children Spain we are looking for a Coordinator to maximize the quality of the Childhood on the Move interventions aimed at children at risk of vulnerability in Melilla, ensuring the correct state of needs, resources, personnel, policies and procedures.

TARGET

Contribute to maximizing the quality of the interventions of Infancia en Movimiento aimed at children at risk of vulnerability in Melilla, ensuring the correct state of needs, resources, personnel, policies and procedures

FUNCTIONS

  1. Supervise the optimal implementation of the interventions in charge throughout their cycle and preparing the reports required by donors and by Save the Children.

  2. Ensure the correct use of the funds assigned to the interventions in accordance with the objectives, through the accompaniment, monitoring and execution of the actions and participate in the identification of unmet needs and search for financing.

  3. Ensure the quality of the programs, the measurement of results and collection of verification sources.

  4. Ensure and strengthen institutional relations and networking with organized civil society.

  5. Represent Save the Children before local administrations, public and private entities and the media and participate in networks, platforms and working groups in Melilla.

  6. Select, manage, supervise and train the team in charge.

  7. Ensure the correct application of the safeguard policies (Child Safeguarding) and the code of conduct

  8. Any other task in accordance with their professional category that is entrusted to them by their manager.

TRAINING REQUIRED

  • Degree in Law or CC. Political or Social and/or similar… + Postgraduate in Project Management and/or Migration
  • Valuable training and knowledge in Protection, Education, Psychosocial, Migrations or Asylum, shelter.
  • Use of tools at a professional level: Office automation –Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access…
  • ESSENTIAL command of the following languages: Spanish and English . Valuable: French and/or Arabic.

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of at least 5 years in Program Management and Institutional Relations positions is essential .
  • Knowledge and experience in project management and human resource management.
  • Valuable experience in monitoring and evaluation, intervention with minors in street situations.
  • Valuable experience of Cooperation in Africa
