YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly focused and customer centric Contract Manager at our new operation in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
Our client, a large consumer retailer, is looking for a single interface lead across all revenue streams therefore this role will be 70% operational based, directing your team, driving high standards and clear communication strategies and 30% client reporting, presenting, and communicating on contract performance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery and operational management for this dedicated client onsite. You will work with the ground business line to monitor and oversee the service performance of transport solutions and lead a shift based operational team driving a culture of engagement with colleagues, CEVA management and the client.
You will maintain a close working partnership with both the customer and CEVA colleagues to develop the contract offering and underpin contract success and manage and direct a diverse team to achieve customer service and operational excellence whilst instilling a continuous improvement, best in class culture to drive the business forward.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing a large and complex logistics operation with a high level of client interface, ideally within a fast-paced multi-channel 3PL operation.
You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as a mind-set that looks to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance.
