If you enjoy being part of a great team and love writing and reviewing contracts, then The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is the place for you! We are looking for a go getter with a good eye for detail to join us. This position will do initial reviews of legal documents such as terms and conditions and work closely with the vendor, agency, and attorney generals office for legal negotiations.

The Ideal candidate for this position will be able to:

Design, formulate, prepare, process, and coordinate contracts at a state or department level.

This will be a senior or supervisory level job where you will provide assistance and expert consultation on contracts.

Preference

Due to this position taking lead in initial legal negotiations with various parties, preference may be given to those with a law degree.

Example of Duties

Primary Duties

  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of contractors.
  • Ensuring proper fiscal control.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.
  • Writes, reviews, and/or negotiates grants, contracts and/or agreements.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
  • Ensures all required aspects of the contract are completed according to specifications and to contract requirements.
  • Reviews fiscal operations to ensure integrity, accuracy and control of data.
  • Provides technical assistance and contract interpretation to contractors.
  • Meets and confers with management, users, and contract providers to resolve problems and coordinate services.
  • Monitors agency or program budget including revenues, expenditures and budget projection, etc.

  • use automated accounting and/or financial computer systems
