Continental Properties is looking for a Accounting Intern to join our Accounting team for Fall/Winter of 2022 at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
You will learn within our Accounting team and facilitate several projects and process improvements. You will use your knowledge from the classroom in a real-world setting.
Note – You must be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
We are embracing a hybrid work environment and you can work both in the office and remotely.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for cash, receivables, payables, and accruals
Help analyze financial statements on a monthly basis
Work with the property management team to identify and record monthly reclasses and accruals
Review and process employee expense reports through Concur
You will learn to use Smartsheet software to improve current checklists/processes
Participate in Accounting team projects that support process improvement and efficiency
Skills for Success:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Experience and comfort with numbers
