The platform you will primarily be responsible for is Crozdesk.com, a software marketplace and comparison site that helps businesses globally decide on which software solutions to use. Through all of our brands and Crozdesk.com, we enable vendors to advertise their solutions. From CRM to Accounting and Marketing Automation to Supply Chain Management – we cover 350+ categories of business software and compare almost everything for our visitors!
One of our duties as a comparison platform is to provide relevant, informative, and helpful content around software solutions, trends in the SaaS industry, and in-depth expert knowledge on particular tools and platforms. Our visitors use this content in order to make purchase decisions for their businesses. As such, we write and engage with our business audience on both sides: with the vendor as well as the buyer. Our content is independent and we leverage our database of more than 10,000 solutions listed on our database to derive market and performance insights.
About the Role:
To help us with content production and vendor engagement, we’re looking for a graduate or student with an analytical mind, a hands-on attitude, and a knack for details to join us for a 3+ months internship. You NEED to be proactive.
You’ll be part of a small startup team and work on data-driven SEO strategy and content marketing initiatives across various industries and Software-as-a-Service categories. You will get the chance to work with partners, users, and colleagues to produce, edit, and manage the content we publish through our software comparison sites.
You’ll also be working on platform operations covering the review, onboarding, and publishing of vendor listings, as well as data-driven contact prospecting and outreach projects covering several products and business functions. This will offer the chance to help refine and test email marketing initiatives and will involve handling large datasets and working with a range of online systems (e.g. CRM, Google Sheets, analytics programs, marketing automation systems, etc.).
The internship is best suited for well-rounded candidates who don’t mind a challenge and are looking to learn and be part of an environment where responsibilities are shared regardless of the job title. Technical acumen and analytical thinking/writing abilities are key. Experience with Marketing Automation software is great.
Work Environment:
We are a dynamic team that’s distributed globally, working from home. Our work hours are flexible around core hours and we rely on responsibility, ownership, and accountability in our tasks and priority management instead of micro-managing and controlling. We run weekly stand-ups and regular team-based meetings to stay in touch and connected.
You will receive full onboarding training and have specific managers supporting you on each project.
We work around 40 hours per week and our team language is English.

What you’ll be doing:
- Help manage the content production pipeline
- Review content pieces submitted to us
- Analyze and optimize existing site content
- Review and approve listing submissions from software vendors
- Review and approve account applications from software vendors
- Find prospects and prepare outreach lists
- Improve and manage outreach email campaigns
- Help out other team members when needed to make sure the company is running smoothly (e.g. testing new features or supporting customers through our on-site chat)
Your skill set includes:
- Previous work experience in B2B tech, startups, or demonstrable interest in all things tech
- A Bachelor’s degree or above (in progress or completed), ideally focused on business administration or humanities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and good technical acumen
- Candidates should be based in the United Kingdom or have a contracting business setup
- Ability to work from a calm environment with a good and stable internet connection
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with large datasets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
- An understanding of SaaS/business software and marketplaces in general
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web content production
