Role: Associate/Senior Associate Content Developer

Location: Bangalore

Product Overview:

The ‘Two-Teacher Advantage’ for BYJU’S Classes is a comprehensive after-school online tutoring program. In this model, students are taught by one expert teacher who uses strong visuals and storytelling to explain topics in-depth to ensure conceptual clarity.

The students also have access to a second teacher who provides live and interactive instant doubt resolutions that closely simulate the offline classroom environment.

We are growing our team of writers to work alongside subject experts to build engaging narratives for the live classes.

If you are someone with…

• the ability to teach a concept simply and entertainingly
• the ability to adapt and innovate teaching techniques for learners
• proficiency in one or more of the following subjects – History, Geography, Civics or Economics
• an interest to write in a variety of styles and to visualise content using storyboards
• an understanding of, or interest in, learning theories, and global and local education product trends
• a hunger to learn and grow, the knack to thrive in a fast and furious, ever-changing, and cross-functional environment

Your key responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

• Writing intuitive and intriguing scripts for live classes in your area of subject expertise or with help from other subject experts
• Storyboarding to bring the contents into life through captivating visuals
• Creating questions, lesson plans, and other technology-enabled tools to help students learn via their own personalised learning path
• Leveraging knowledge of K-12 misconceptions to build effective learning products
• Play-testing our products and incorporating insights from it back into the product
• Taking ownership of your scripts

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF:

• You have worked in a similar role in other EdTech companies
• You have taught before and possess teaching experience in subjects allied with Social Studies
• You have cleared the UPSC Civil Services examination (Prelims)

COMPENSATION & OTHER DETAILS

• Compensation is as per industry standards
• We work on a 5-day weekly cycle with Saturdays and Sundays off.
