• Functionly is on a mission to make organization (org) design easier and more intelligent for leaders. We’re on the look out for a Content Creator/Editor to join our tight knit remote team on a part-time basis to help build out our content library and land us as the category leader for the future of organization design.

Job Description

• You will be responsible for creating, editing, publishing and distributing digital and social media content to grow Functionly’s profile among org designers, leaders and drive customer leads. The role is currently offered on a part-time basis for an initial 6-month contract but there is potential to extend further, or become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Organise, write and sub-edit articles for Functionly’s Orginometry Blog
• Ensure all the quality and elements of all published articles are to the highest standard
• Ensure all articles are written to brief, and channel requirements adhered to i.e. blog, SEO, lead generation and educational content
• Oversee eventual ramp up of the publication of one blog article per day
• Oversee Functionly’s content planning, calendar and ensure
• Generate continuous daily social media posts & snackables
• Build an in-house “writer machine” (several ghost writers submitting posts)
• Build a guest/influencer “writer machine” (many writers submitting posts getting acknowledgment as author)
• Podcast planning, production, packaging content and overseeing SEO optimisation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of online publishing, writing and editing experience
• A journalism and/or management consulting background is ideal but not essential
• Experience running a sizeable blog and/or news site(s) with a working knowledge of SEO
• Able to produce high-quality articles under tight deadlines and pressures
• Proficiency in US-style editing (tone, grammar and spelling)
