Container Management System Operator

OverviewUnder supervision of the Container Management System Operator Lead and/or Supervisor, the Container Management System Operator records, tracks, and manages all movement of containers using the CMR and Daily Tracking Sheets. Must be familiar with and proficient using Web-based automation systems, such as the Container Management Support Tool (CMST) and the Army Container Asset Management System (ACAMS). Two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine b.) Two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine c.) Two doses of Moderna Vaccine (or) d. One dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and 2.) Two weeks elapsed after the final dose was administered, which is either one or two doses depending on brand of the vaccination.Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcriptMust be able to obtain CAC eligibilityProof of COVID-19 Vaccination:In order to qualify for this position, you must be fully vaccinated prior to the start of your assignment and show proof of your vaccination status, unless you are legally entitled to an accommodation (religious or medical). Experience:Must have three (3) years of Supply and Transportation experience.Must be familiar with and proficient using Web-based automation systems, such as the Container Management Support Tool (CMST) and the Army Container Asset Management System (ACAMS).Must know Transportation Movement Control associated with spotter, ground guide, and escort duties.Skills:Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workloadAbility to work under pressure.Working Conditions:Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.Physical Requirements:Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
