PricewaterhouseCoopers seeks a dynamic and results-driven Director to spearhead its Accounting Advisory team in Abu Dhabi. This critical leadership position requires a minimum of 13 years of experience in the finance and accounting sector, with a strong emphasis on cultivating business opportunities and securing key engagements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion and success of the Accounting Advisory practice, contributing to the development and execution of impactful projects across various sectors in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead business development efforts, utilizing an extensive network to secure new client engagements and expand the firm’s market share in Abu Dhabi.
• Lead the team in cultivating enduring and profitable client relationships, focusing on long-term growth strategies and collaborative partnerships.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy, amplifying the Accounting Advisory practice’s visibility and impact, and driving substantial revenue growth.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of complex accounting projects, maintaining a steadfast commitment to exceptional service and client satisfaction.

• Proven ability to develop and expand business, demonstrating a strong track record in acquiring and nurturing key client relationships and engagements.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse clients and stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership skills, showcasing a strong aptitude for building and managing high-performing teams and cultivating a sustainable business model.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering impactful and complex accounting projects, showcasing a deep understanding of industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a consultancy or professional services firm, highlighting a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s dynamics and challenges.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous, facilitating effective communication and relationship-building within the local business community.
