IJR

The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) is a think tank-cum-field practitioner organisation making niche contributions to issues of political and economic transition, peacebuilding & transformation, in South Africa, Africa and beyond. Founded in 2000, IJR has earned an international reputation for high-quality, evidence-based original research, sought-after policy input and in-depth reconciliation work at local, national and regional levels. The IJR’s vision is to build fair, democratic, inclusive and peaceful societies in Africa through carefully selected engagements and interventions. The IJR is a best practice NGO that seeks to implement in its own circles, the values it upholds for society. Its talented and committed staff members reflect the diversity of South Africa, and the African continent, as does its eminent Board of Directors.

In order to remain responsive to the demands of IJR’s work, the organisation is aiming to establish a consultant roster to ensure IJR has sufficient capacity available to implement its projects.

The IJR is therefore looking for consultants who are interested to become part of IJR’s consultant pool. Should projects arise where additional capacity is required, IJR would treat the roster as a preferred pool of consultants and send relevant requests immediately to this pool.
