CONSULTANT – SAFEGUARDING HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE TECHNICAL UNIT

SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The consultant will work with an IMC team of experts to develop a toolkit/guidance document containing a contextualization plan template for country teams to capture their planned activities and monitor their progress. This output will be developed through consultation with field offices and relevant staff from HQ departments.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree; Masters’ degree, international development, social work, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a humanitarian context
  • Track record of deliverables, particularly guidelines, as a senior safeguarding professional
  • Experience in preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and exploitation and/or GBV/protection
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to relate well with individuals at all levels of an organization
