On May 13th, 2020, Habitat CEO, Jonathan Reckford, announced the globalization of Habitat’s Terwilliger center. This will enable the Center to harness the best functional expertise from around the world, drawing on international diversity and layered with deep local knowledge. This will result in better synergies, efficiencies, and knowledge sharing across the Center’s global teams. This globalization work involved several phases. Firstly, consolidating all TCIS staff and operations under one division/business unit, and reorganization (see timeline below). The next phase of this globalization process involves looking at our new globalized sub-culture and how it integrates with HFHI overall. The TCIS leadership team will drive this defining and understanding of our sub-culture; understanding how we collaborate, communicate, and clarity on how we work to get to optimal results.

SCOPE OF WORK

Based on the results of surveys and assessments from the first phase of the leadership/team building and culture and the consultants (ACCELACore LLC and Telescope Advisers)’s recommendations, TCIS is launching a second (Phase2) to continue the Team Building work.
We are seeking a consultant who has experience in making teams more productive to help the TCIS leadership team with follow up in team progress in communication, motivation to frequently engage in creative thinking, creative solutions as a team, to solve problems as a team, and increase fostering trust for one another and the TCIS Team.
Timeframe: We would like all activities and assessments to conclude by December 31st, 2023.

The consultant of the TCIS leadership team building work will:
Revise results from team assessments already conducted by both ACCELACore LLC and Telescope Advisers LLC
Previous recommendations
Conduct newest emotional intelligence assessments if needed
Set up workshops and determine way forward in working together as a leadership team.
Follow up sessions/assess team progress

The consultant will drive the leadership team to commit to modeling behaviors, communication, and collaboration styles that will promote a high efficiency culture of accountability in delivering TCIS strategic objectives.
