OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTANCY (SOCIAL ENTERPRISE FIRM)

To undertake content/ Curriculum Development on digital upskilling

To deliver on site digital upskilling training to 200 learners

To conduct tailored mentorship support on Digital upskilling and online freelancing to 200 learners.
3. SCOPE OF WORK:
The social enterprise firm will perform the following main responsibilities/tasks.
1.
Using a market-based approach and working with NRC and ITC, assess skill levels to identify the most marketable skills for digital job opportunities in Kakuma, building on basic creative digital skills training and the existing pool of talent in Kakuma.
2.
Design a comprehensive training curriculum for the Digital Skills Services based on agreed skills (data entry, web research, graphic design digital marketing) and levels (low, medium or high skills) for 200 learners.
3.
Support in the development and implementation of contextualised effective recruitment of trainees in the identified digital freelancing value chains according to project beneficiary selection criteria.
4.
Deliver in-person training with a focus on digital upskilling, mentorship, and linkage to digital opportunities.
5.
Design and deliver distance-learning content using a mix of tools and methodologies with a focus on skills upgrading, building on basic foundational digital skills.
6.
Provide tailored mentorship and coaching support to learners and relevant support structures to facilitate their transition to professional online workers.
7.
Support the development of market linkages and creation of viable market connections for learners including by working closely with private sector partners to support the successful inclusion of learners in global and local online freelancing platforms.
8.
Conduct reviews, gathering feedback and data, and reporting accordingly.
