Consultancy for Stocktaking of policy landscape for cross border disaster displacement and developing human mobility framework for selected South Asia

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

• Review of existing migration/mobility policies and frameworks for addressing cross border disaster displacement in the countries covered under this study.
• Review the global best practices in addressing disaster displaced persons and applicable lessons for South Asia
• Develop a Human Mobility Framework for South Asian Countries upholding the human dignity and protection for disaster displaced population.
• Present study findings virtually in a national consultation and a regional consultation in Bangladesh.
• Develop a policy brief based on the study findings, which can be used as policy prescriptions for the countries in South Asia.
