Job Overview

Candidates will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. We are looking for high performing and motivated interns in various areas within DTNA organizations. Summer 2023 Internships will begin in May/June 2023.

This position may have the opportunity to transition into a full time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Team member in the Concept Development Design Center group focusing on 3 and 5 axis milling processes of Clay and hard models.

Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute and be a part of exciting projects that drive the future within the Daimler Trucks North America organization
• Cross functionally work with various departments to create a collaborative environment
• Be an ambassador to Daimler’s inclusive and diverse culture initiatives
• 5 Axis CNC Programming, machine setup and operation. Design, Engineering of models, fixtures and components.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

• Working towards associates degree program or higher required
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Organizational skills required
• Creative thought mindset required
• Interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment required
• Attached resume is required
• CAD experience

Typical Minimum Experience Preferred (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 2.5 GPA or higher
• CAD experience in NX and Tebis preferred, If not Solid Works or Rhino.
• CNC Controller experience
