An exciting opening has arisen in our new West Africa region for an enthusiastic and committed professional with substantial experience in the areas of support for grant management, compliance or organisational management.
The Regional Compliance Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing compliance support for the region
- Managing systems to track reports and budgets to ensure compliance with Tearfund and external donors requirements
- Training and supporting country office staff on compliance

This role will involve up to 6 weeks travel within West Africa.
Please note: This is a national contract therefore, candidates must have a passport or visa evidencing their right to live and work in one of the following countries: Burkina Faso, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Liberia, or Sierra Leone.
Salary and benefits will be dependent on location.
This is not a remote role, therefore the successful candidate will be based in one of the above Tearfund country offices in West Africa.
The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding issues. In addition, personal identification information will be submitted against a Watchlist database to check against criminal convictions as a counter-terror measure.
