Project

The Compliance Officer, GAVI will provide guidance and advice to relevant IRC staff, building their understanding of the GAVI donor compliance, regulations and terms and conditions to support successful negotiation, start up, inception, subcontracting and implementation of a GAVI award.

Anticipated outcomes

  • Advise and guide on compliance matters related to GAVI negotiation, start up, inception and implementation
  • Advise the implementing team in areas of risk analysis and mitigation
  • Develop a GAVI contracts training for implementing team
  • Develop a of GAVI-specific due diligence and monitoring tools for subcontractors
  • Develop a GAVI subcontract template
  • Lead the compliance reviews of all subcontracts in collaboration with the S&P Compliance Director
  • Support the project team to respond to feedback from subcontractors on GAVI rules and subcontract materials

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience working with GAVI contracts and grants, including demonstrated experience and expertise in interpreting and applying GAVI rules
