Contech is a health care consulting, research and management organization established in 2001, in the private sector with a group of committed professionals. Contech is striving for improving the health status of people especially women and children by providing technical assistance in key areas of health care.

We are looking for Compliance Manager “based in Lahore”.

The role involves developing, implementing, monitoring and auditing of all relevant policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines, agreements, budget time and resources to prevent violations mitigate risks, budget compliance, project timely completion with quality & efficiency and promote ethical behavior within the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

General breakdown of the responsibilities associated with the role of a Compliance Manager include:

  • Regulatory Compliance – Stay updated on all applicable legal & financial regulations and standards to ensure the organization’s activities adhere to them.
  • Policy Development – Create and update compliance policies and procedures that align with regulations, company and project objectives.
  • Risk Assessment – Identify potential compliance risks and evaluate their potential impact on the project implementation, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Monitoring and Reporting – Regularly monitor the project activities to detect any compliance breaches. Generate reports for management authorities as required.
  • Training and Education – Provide training to project team on compliance-related matters to ensure understanding and adherence to regulations.
  • Internal Audits – Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure that compliance measures are effective and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigations – Manage and conduct investigations into potential compliance violations, including gathering evidence and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to compliance.
  • Documentation – Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including policies, training materials, audit reports, and investigation outcomes.

Job requirements and skills/qualifications

Following are the requirements and qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in health sector (international donor & development projects based experience will be preferred)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex regulations, assess risks, and develop strategies to ensure compliance.
  • Proficiency in laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal & Financial risks.
  • Role involve meticulous attention to detail to identify potential compliance issues and implement effective solutions
  • Working skills in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet,
  • Knowledge in project Monitoring and Evaluation,
  • Ability to work and establish good relationships with co-workers, and project team.
