The Role
The Compensation Team owns the strategic and operational design of Addepar’s global compensation programs. In this high-impact internship, you be exposed to every aspect of the Compensation function and gain practical experience building and delivering competitive and scalable programs and practices.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $35/hr.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain a scalable job architecture.
- Partner with Comp Team to manage equity pool.
- Partner with your compensation peer to complete job leveling, salary surveys, and market analysis in order to make comprehensive recommendations.
- Work closely with Business Partners and Recruiters on offers, promotions, and transfers as an internal consultant on all aspects of compensation.
- Work closely with Comp Team to deliver employee compensation communication and education strategies.
- Collaborate with the Comp Team to design and manage annual compensation reviews, including planning, comp application administration, analysis, and auditing.
- Collaborate with Comp Team and stock admin to analyze equity, including burn rate, overhang, and dilution analyses.
- Collaborate with the Comp Team to build internal tools and resources to manage compensation decisions.
Who You Are
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university must be located in the US & Canada) & must be returning to school after internship
- Available to intern for the full 12 weeks
- Exceptional math and data analysis skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills including statistical analysis and modeling.
- Basic understanding of stock options, RSUs, and other equity offerings.
- Real interest in building and running compensation programs globally in a start-up.
- Analytically driven, with fluidity in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Interest in evaluating and managing salary management tools.
- Financially astute and meticulous.
- You are flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, and organized.
