The Organisation

The Front Project TFP is an independent, national enterprise addressing disadvantage and improving outcomes for children and society by realising the benefits of quality early childhood education. TFP works collaboratively to improve early education access, experiences and outcomes for children and families across Australia.

TFP is embarking on its second scale-up phase including the establishment of an early learning Think+Do Tank, integrating input from children and families into policy development, as well as two workforce initiatives, The Upskill Program and The Online Community requiring evidence based, beneficiary informed communications driving impact and philanthropic engagement.

The Role

Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager and working closely with the advisory and advocacy team as well as the broader group you will help build awareness and drive engagement via the key functions, including the maintenance and development of an engaging and functional web presence, electronic marketing, creative production and written communications. Specifically you will:

  • Generate the refresh of web content, graphics and navigation (Joomla)
  • Manage electronic marketing and engagement platforms and databases
  • Collaborate with the social media coordinator to develop engaging graphics and audio-visual materials
  • Continually gather, record, analyse and report on data to evaluate communications activities

Skills Required

You have experience in a similar digital communications role with exposure to external communications. You have solid experience with engaging content production and writing, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, interpret data and quickly develop a meaningful dialogue.

Additionally, your experience includes:

  • Digital reporting including SEO and Google analytics
  • Management of website platforms including maintenance and development
  • CMS, ideally Joomla (web refresh is planned)
  • Media editing tools ie Adobe Photoshop or the like
  • Tertiary qualified in marketing, communications or related discipline
