PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Communications Officer will help to develop an overall communications and public affairs strategy. S/he will manage the organization’s social media and website, lead all communications activity for the organization including media relations, sponsorships, events and community activities. and role is to manage Kids Paradise’s digital images and assets for the general public and key stakeholders (including institutional donors) and develop and distribute communication materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Create, schedule, and manage social media content with content tailored to each social media platform
Regularly update and edit website content.
Prepare, organize, and manage communication activities for advocacy, project management, and fundraising activities.
Coordinate between graphic design and program implementation for newsletters, infographics, posters, and videos.
Coordinate and organize media and prepare it for social media content and reports.

Coordinate, organize and archive all media and manage records and information management in a systematic way with the media team.

2 Craft key messages for specific groups, initiatives, or projects,

3 Develop and product newsletters, press releases, and fact sheets,

SKILLS AND QUALITIES OF POSTHOLDERS:

Written and spoken fluency in English and better with Arabic
Outstanding communication skills
Computer proficiency
Digital asset organizational skills
Language-editing skills
5 expertise in communications, public relations, journalism, or any related field.
